Wife. Mom. Pet Parent. Independent Author. AS in General Studies from Faulkner State Community College. BS in English from Troy University. Minored in creative writing.

 

The Long Version:

 

Hey, y'all! I'm Chelsea Clemmons Moye. I'm a native of Bay Minette, Alabama. Not only was I born and reared here, I came back after college because being away made me realize how much I love it here. I married the love of my life, Lake Moye, on July 11, 2015. We had our first baby in May of 2017. His name is River and he's the most amazing thing ever. We also have a black and tan coonhound named Doc Holliday, two rescue mutts named Charli and Sirius, a largemouth bass named Bubba, and a shorthair American tabby named Anastasia. We love to go fishing together, spend time with our families and friends, and I love to watch him drag race in his '67 Camaro. I also read, play video games, drink coffee, and enjoy a good cup of hot tea any chance I get.

I am a lifelong bibliophile thanks to my English teacher mother, Betty Clemmons, instilling a passionate love of literature in me. I've also been playing around on computers since I was old enough to sit up on my own, thanks to my father, David Clemmons, who worked for IBM for almost 36 years.
